[ARCHIVED] Check Out Auction Items Available at Wednesday’s Banquet!

The original item was published from September 22, 2022 1:01 PM to September 23, 2022 6:54 AM

WACO’s 64th Annual Conference kicks off on Tuesday, and we couldn’t be more excited to have so many members registered and planning to come both in-person and virtually. This conference plans to be one of the best ones yet, with incredibly valuable keynotes, trainings, and education breakouts – not to mention, it’s a great chance to see everyone you’ve missed over the last few years!

One attendee-favorite event is the Wednesday night banquet. The banquet features an award ceremony celebrating the service of retiring county officials, a performance from Spokane’s own Riddler Piano Bar (featuring a drummer – and all three performers sing!), and an important silent auction that will help raise proceeds for the Washington Counties Scholarship Fund.

This year’s auction has some notably fantastic items that are up for auction. Here are just a few of the goodies that you’ll be able to bid on come Wednesday night. *Keep in mind, that the auction is a silent, in-person auction this year – but that doesn’t mean that virtual attendees can’t participate! Just ask one of your friends attending the auction to bid for you if there’s any item you’d like.

This beautiful backpack is so much more than it appears! It comes with ample, insulated storage room for picnic goods, a full serving set (including a cutting board), a picnic blanket to keep you comfortable on your adventures, and we’ve even included a nice bottle of wine to help top off the adventure. A perfect item for a solo outing, a date, double date – or you can even pack it up at home and pretend if it gets too rainy.
