Is your son or daughter heading off to college next year? Looking for a little relief from rising tuition costs? The Washington Counties Scholarship Fund knows that every little bit helps.

The Washington Counties Scholarship Fund will be accepting applications for the 2023/24 academic year beginning March 1, 2023. The fund awards up to three $3,000 scholarships to eligible children of county employees and county elected officials in the following offices assessors, auditors, clerks, coroners, medical examiners, prosecutors, sheriffs, and treasurers.

Recipients must be full-time students in a baccalaureate degree, associate degree, or vocational/technical certification program.

Funds for the scholarship are provided by members of the Washington Association of County Officials (WACO). Since 1993 the fund has awarded over $310,000 to eligible students.

The Washington Counties Scholarship Fund provides multiple scholarships annually to eligible children of county employees and county elected officials (assessors, auditors, clerks, coroners, medical examiners, prosecutors, sheriffs, and treasurers), and in order to continue we need your support.
