Welcome our New WACO Board Members!

The WACO Board of Trustees is proud to announce three new members. During the WACO Annual Conference, Grant County Coroner, Craig Morrison, Kittitas County Treasurer, Amy Cziske and San Juan County Clerk Lisa Henderson were sworn onto the WACO Board of Trustees. 

Coroner Morrison will serve as the Coroners Trustee on the WACO Board of Trustees. He has been a death care professional his entire adult life. Craig was raised in southern Idaho.  He graduated from Oakley High School in Oakley, Idaho before attending Rick’s College in Rexburg, Idaho. After returning from a mission for his church in Missouri and Illinois, he married his high-school sweetheart.  They made their home in Nampa, Idaho.Craig continued his education at Rick’s College, Boise State University and Mt. Hood Mortuary College where he received his mortuary science degree. For many years he worked as a National Selected Mortician in Nampa, Idaho before moving to Moses Lake, WA in 1994.  There, he and his wife continued to raise their family.  Craig managed the local funeral home, crematory and cemetery until he was elected Grant County Coroner in 2010. Craig has held several leadership positions in his personal and professional life.  He is currently serving on the executive board of the Washington Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners where he has held offices for the past 11 years.

Treasurer Amy Cziske will serve as the Secretary/Treasurer on the WACO Board of Trustees. Amy is currently serving as the Kittitas County Treasurer. This is her first term as Treasurer and prior to becoming Treasurer in 2019, she was a Fiscal Technician in the Treasurer’s office for three years. She spent 14 years in Marketing, Public Relations and Event Planning before changing paths to County government. She attended Central Washington University graduating in 2000 with degrees in Administrative Office Management and Fashion Merchandising. Amy loves being involved in her community and her children’s activities. Currently, she is active with the Kittitas County CattleWomen where she serves as their Secretary and the Kittitas County Fair. She has also served on many other civic boards and currently holds various positions. Her inspiration comes from her husband and two children. In her free time, she likes to camp, boat, sew and relax.

Clerk Henderson will serve as the the WACO Trustee at Large Position 6 which represents Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, San Juan, Skamania, and Wahkiakum Counties. Lisa joined the San Juan County Clerk’s office as Chief Deputy in September 2014.  Lisa’s background includes serving in the private sector as an accounting and human resources executive, legal assistant, office manager and escrow assistant.  She was appointed as San Juan County Clerk in April of 2018 and subsequently elected to begin serving her first term in January 2019.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and currently serves on several committees for the Clerks Association as well as the WACO Representative on the State Sexual Assault Community Coordinated Response Task Force. Lisa migrated to the Northwest from West Michigan over 20 years ago.  She loves the northwest and raised 3 children on San Juan Island enjoying hiking, reading, beach combing and gardening.  She enjoys spending time in her corner of paradise… home with her family working their little hobby farm. Lisa looks forward to learning and growing as Trustee at Large representing the small but mighty counties of Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, San Juan Skamania and Wahkiakum.
